Somatic Coaching

Through our somatic work together you will:

  • Learn how to regulate your nervous system, to find your way into calm and stillness but also into inner agency so that you can better navigate big feelings and unsettling challenges

What to Expect

We know the way forward, we simply get lost in the noise of our ‘habits of being’ that are rooted in our beliefs about ourselves and about life. When we are regulated and held in support, we are able to find our way into the clarity of our own inner wisdom.  This wisdom lives inside the body. When we learn how to give ourselves space and care, our body becomes a trusted wayshower. 

When you enter the coaching space, we will slow down together and attune our awareness within. I will help you arrive there fully. We will co-regulate, helping to bring stillness to the busy-ness of the day and clarity into the space. 

Together, we will find a loving entry point into what is alive for you under the noise - the calm and clarity under the choppy waves. 

It can be helpful to come to a session with something specific you would like to work on - be it practical or emotional in nature - but this isn’t necessary. When we land firmly in the moment, the soma will guide us into what needs addressing. Many times, clients will arrive with a particular issue at hand, only to discover a significantly different issue present itself through the somatic process. 

When we marry the act of deep listening and presence with somatic practice and, finally, good questions, clients walk away feeling empowered and clear, with a plan in place for moving forward. 

Our sessions will end with an action plan. This is often an actionable set of steps earthed in self care and/or practical process. We will come up with a plan together and will revisit it in our next session to see what unfolded and how things have shifted.

I will send you a recap email after every session with a summary of what we touched on and a reminder of the agreements we arrived at, as well as any resources or teachings that may have surfaced during our time together.
